Last updated: May 7, 2026By using any part of the project, you agree to these terms. Built by a solo developer—straightforward and fair.
Fair use & responsibilities
StatikAPI is designed for developers, creators, and teams who want to build static JSON APIs with transparency and simplicity. You agree to use it responsibly and only for lawful purposes.
- Do not abuse or overload public infrastructure or hosted services.
- Keep your credentials private if using any hosted features.
- You are fully responsible for the data and outputs generated using the open-source CLI or StatikAPI App.
- You must not attempt to bypass product limits, billing rules, permissions, or other backend-enforced restrictions.
Open-source use
MITThe open-source CLI and core libraries are licensed under the MIT License. You may freely use, modify, and distribute them in accordance with that license. These Terms mainly apply to the StatikAPI website and hosted services.

StatikAPI provides hosted project dashboards, automated rebuilds, and API key management through the live app. Additional service-specific terms and pricing may expand over time.
Try the hosted appAccounts, teams & billing
Hosted access is account-based, and some features are team-scoped. Billing, quotas, entitlements, and subscription state are controlled per team. The backend is authoritative for account state, permissions, billing state, and access restrictions.
- Paid features, quotas, and access may change based on your current plan, billing status, or subscription lifecycle.
- Your account may not be deletable while you still own teams or projects that depend on it.
- Team deletion may be blocked while projects or active recurring subscriptions still exist under that team.
Suspension & access limits
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate hosted access when necessary to prevent abuse, enforce these Terms, comply with legal obligations, or protect the reliability and security of the service.
No guarantees
StatikAPI is provided "as is" without warranties. While we do our best to keep the tools reliable and secure, uptime or uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Use at your own discretion.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StatikAPI and its creator are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the project or service.
Modifications
Terms may be updated occasionally to reflect new features or policies. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms. Updates will always be posted publicly on this page.
